SimplyGrain

A lactose-free, pea-protein granola bar brand. I built the brand, the packaging, the store and the customer journey, then sold it face to face and to businesses. It has since closed, and the numbers below are what it did while it ran.

What I did

  • Spent the first 2 to 3 months on 200+ customer conversations, on the ground and by phone, before scaling anything.
  • First 30 days: ₹1L revenue, 800+ units direct, and a ₹50K wholesale order, the first B2B deal.
  • Ran 2 on-ground stalls (300+ customers, ~20 to 25% conversion) and 10+ stores in total.
  • Negotiated with 10+ packaging suppliers and benchmarked 8+ competing brands.
  • Designed the brand identity and packaging, and built the storefront with AI-assisted coding.
  • Pitched to BigBasket, Mamaearth, Yogabar and GO DESi founders, and won ₹20K and ₹15K at Mesa.

What I did

  • Ran 100+ customer interviews on demand, flavours and price before launching in 50 days.
  • Re-sourced across 3 suppliers (Ooty, a Bangalore manufacturer, a local home-based producer) to fix cost and reliability.
  • Sold ₹56K B2B and ₹90K D2C across 6+ stalls, using every conversation to sharpen the pitch.
  • Led B2B and on-ground sales, operations and design.

FinSight

A conversational credit-card recommender, built in a two-week sprint. A 15-question chat learns who you are, matches you to the best-fit card and explains why. A prototype, not a product.

300+cards structured
2,400+data points
25+users tested
8scoring criteria
4+build cycles
2 wksidea to demo

What I did

  • Structured a database of 300+ credit cards with 8+ attributes each: fees, rewards, eligibility, benefits.
  • Designed a multi-parameter framework that scores each card on 8 financial and usage criteria.
  • Built it in Lovable and Supabase for semantic search, through 4+ development cycles.
  • Tested with 25+ users, then presented the working prototype to 2 judges.
  • Wrote the prompts and tuned token use, because every extra word costs money at scale.

WaveOps

A week at Mantra Surf Club, working alongside Shubh. I fixed their brochure messaging, then went on the ground, found the real problem (missed calls early in the morning and after 7 pm, exactly when people book) and built an agent for it.

1call-transcription system
100%human-reviewed bookings
1 wkon the ground

What I did

  • Answers repetitive questions outside working hours, and helps people choose the best stay, room, surf conditions and course.
  • The person in charge reviews first, then the agent updates the booking sheet automatically.
  • A second system transcribes every instructor call and feeds it back, so the agent learns what really happens on calls.
  • Paid in surf lessons.

Mentoring

I mentored 3 startup teams, 12 students, every day for a 14-day selling sprint. My job was strategy: what to focus on, who to sell to, and what to stop doing. Between them they made about ₹2.9 lakh.

What I did

  • Nani Ki Imli: ₹3K to ₹5K on day one, near 19th or 20th. They went one by one to B2B and D2C buyers and finished third with ₹1.3L.
  • Brood Bros: best aesthetics on the ground and consistent from the start. ₹10K in week one, then ₹80K to ₹90K in week two. About ₹90K total.
  • Moonlight: around ₹70K over the sprint.
  • Figures are as the teams told me. The revenue belongs to them.

Emversity

Influencer marketing for the university vertical of an edtech startup. I onboarded creators, negotiated fees down and built the pipeline that let the team close deals faster.

70+creators onboarded
₹1L → ₹20Kreel fee
~1,000creators screened
22–25deals a week

What I did

  • Onboarded 70+ micro and macro influencers and cut reel fees from ₹1 lakh to ₹20,000 with incentive-based pay.
  • Built a lead-generation system on free APIs feeding a Google Sheets database, and screened about 1,000 creators.
  • Ranked top-20 and top-50 shortlists, which let the team close 22 to 25 deals a week.
  • Designed a partially automated influencer-marketing system for the university vertical.

Dreamspan

Two days of asking before advising: how a ₹1.5 lakh sleep-tech bed could launch in India. I polled, interviewed and walked into stores, then turned it into a 30-day plan.

What I did

  • Polled a 920-person alumni network on what health hardware people own and spend on.
  • Interviewed 5 people who spent their own money on wearables and sleep.
  • Talked to staff at Dyson, Apple, Samsung and Sleepy Cat (and got asked to leave one of them).
  • Found price was not the barrier. The buying moment was: a renovation, a milestone, or a medical need.
