WaveOpsat Mantra Surf Club
I spent a week at a surf club, fixed their brochure messaging, then built an agent to catch the calls they were missing.

The problem
The club got a flood of calls and queries early in the morning and again after 7 in the evening, exactly when people book. Nobody was free to answer, and most questions were the same ones every time.
What I built
- A customer calls or messages outside working hours.
- The agent answers the repetitive questions and helps them choose the best stay, room, surf conditions and course.
- The person in charge reviews it, then the agent updates the booking sheet automatically.
A second system transcribes every call automatically and feeds it back to the agent, so it learns what really happens on instructor calls.
Why it works
A human reviews before any booking data changes, so a wrong answer never silently becomes a wrong booking. I started by standing where the problem happens, listening to what the team actually faced, before writing anything.
Also that week
Fixed the club's brochure messaging and photo delivery, alongside Shubh. Paid in surf lessons.
What I learned
- Good automation starts by standing where the problem happens.
- Keep a human in the loop until the system has earned trust.
