How I got here.

Ten stops, from a school in Mumbai to a research project in Bengaluru. Tap a stop to jump to it, and drag the photos if you like.

Campion School

Mathematics topper, top 3 in school across all subjects in Grade 9. I wanted to study commerce, but my school gave science to its high scorers, so the subject was never really my choice. 93% in the prelims, then 96.4% in the boards.

The engineering detour

With no choice of subject, the only choice left was to commit. I never avoided it: I wanted to become an engineer. I spent about a year and a half sitting 10 to 12 hours at my study table, going through the subject I hated most, chemistry. My love for maths and physics got me through.

But the calling towards business never stopped. That obsession is what finally landed me at Mesa.

Zero to selling in 50 days, after 100+ customer interviews on demand, flavours and price. I owned supplier sourcing, sales execution and go-to-market in a team of three, and re-sourced across three suppliers (Ooty, a Bangalore manufacturer, then a local home-based producer) to fix cost and reliability.

Brand, packaging, storefront and customer journey, built with AI-assisted coding and sold on the ground. 200+ customer conversations in the first two to three months shaped the product before scaling. We won demo-day competitions twice, and took ₹20,000 in Venture Building and Innovation capital at Mesa. The brand has since closed.

WaveOps × Mantra Surf Club

I spent a week at the surf club, fixing their brochure messaging and photo delivery, and got surf lessons in return. Then I went on the ground to understand the real problem: a flood of calls and queries early in the morning and after 7 in the evening, exactly when people book, and nobody free to answer.

So I built them an automation agent:

  1. A customer calls or messages outside working hours.
  2. The agent answers the repetitive questions and helps them pick the best stay, room, surf conditions and course.
  3. The person in charge reviews it, then the agent updates the booking sheet automatically.
  4. Calls with instructors are transcribed automatically and fed back to the agent, so it learns what actually happens on calls.

Emversity

Onboarded 70+ micro and macro influencers and negotiated reel fees down from ₹1 lakh to ₹20,000 with incentive-based pay. Built a lead-generation system on free APIs feeding a Google Sheets database and screened about 1,000 influencers for niche and audience fit. Ranked top-20 and top-50 shortlists, which let the team close roughly 22 to 25 deals a week. Then designed a partially automated influencer-marketing system for the university vertical.

Two days of asking before advising. A poll across a 920-person alumni network, five long interviews with people who spend on wearables, and four store conversations at Dyson, Apple, Samsung and Sleepy Cat. The finding that shaped the plan: out of 40+ health spenders, one had ever paid for sleep, and price was not the barrier. The moment was.
